Amla. Also known as “Indian Gooseberry” and it’s antioxidant value of 7000 blows every other superfruit out of the water. Move over prunes, blueberries, and goji berries, because Amla is the most potent superfruit of all. In cancer studies, amla was added to Petri dishes of various types of cancerous cells, and it not only destroyed the cancer, but it actually made the original cells more healthy and viable than they were to begin with! I won’t beat around the bush, however, Amla is know for it’s awful, bitter taste and horribly sand-like texture. Pick your battles though, it tastes awful but it works.
Tip: Add warm water or liquid bentonite clay to Amla powder for a rejuvenating and anti-aging face mask. Did I just cover my face in it? Absolutely. Did I choose to post this blurb on Amla instead of showing you a selfie of my face smeared with brown goop? Obviously. Ayurvedic mugshot? Ain’t nobody got time for that. 💛#Ayurveda #Veganfoodshare #glutenfreevegan #holistic #wellness #nutrition
